Cover to cover design of monthly, award-winning magazine distributed to over 50,000 residents of growing, a military city located just north of San Antonio, Texas. (Multiple international awards were given for cover design from (2009 - 2017). CONSISTENT 15-day turnaround of 48-72 page magazine WITH MANDATORY DEADLINE FOR MAILING. after client-supplied articles and amateur photography, Articles were often edited and pictures were CORRECTED in photoshop TO MAINTAIN CONSISTENT MOOD AND LOOK.
WORKED WITH SALES TEAM TO CREATE All advertisements during the month, prior to content submission, and often had to work directly with the advertiser on content. I WORKED DIRECTLY WITH EDITOR (OFTEN IN TO WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING BEFORE DEADLINE) TO PROOF ARTICLES, COORDINATE PAGINATION, AND ENSURE CITY'S ARTICLE HIERARCHY.
Strict deadlines kept (CITY CONTRACT GUARANTEED) and all coordination/communications with press/proofing. Over 140 publications ON TIME!
IN THE ORIGINAL BID FOR THE MAGAZINE CONTRACT, I WORKED WITH A TEAM OF MARKETING AND BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS TO PRESENT A COST ANALYSIS FOR THE CITY TO CONSIDER IN THE COUNCIL'S DECISION. ONCE ACCEPTED, I Created the advertising guides and helped advise pricing structures and printing/postage budgets for the business model for the City. Created ONGOING brochures and information for the sales department to distribute TO SPECIFIC DEMOGRAPHICS AND SPECIAL PROMOTIONS.

Created all collateral (logos, posters, maps, signage, billboards, etc.) for largest seasonal events for over 10 years. These included events like: Trunk or Treat, SchertzFest, Jubilee, Fest of Angels, Doggie Dash, Holidazzle, Moving on Main, Sweethearts Competition, Jazzfest, Easter in the Park, Baldwin Golf Tournament, and more. (2009 - 2019)

Dine & Doze Restaurant Guide - Published in both English & Spanish (2013-2019)

Economic Development Commission- Pocket Folder and marketing materials to present to international businesses interested in moving to Schertz. (Won International Communicator Award 2012)
Parks and Recreation - Several annual guides including restaurant guide, Parks & Rec Guide (Won TAMIO Award 2019), AND A LARGE, COMMEMORATIVE SIGN CUSTOM DESIGNED ON LIMESTONE FOR PLAYGROUND.
